Hello! It’s nice to meet you. My name is Lindsay, and I’m running for the position of “Minister of Ministers” (MoM), acting as temporary benevolent dictator of Canada for a period of 20 years (not really).
This space is where I am attempting to help start new, constructive conversations about critical issues impacting our country and its people because the old conversations aren’t working.
I believe one of the greatest contributing factors to Canadians’ suffering is the perpetual pursuit of solutions through the lens of business and industry. There are other lenses through which to view problem-solving!
I’m using an imaginary play scenario in which I’m the leader and have the ability to consider decisions through the lens of 1) A Mother, 2) Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, and 3) Broken Windows Theory to enact changes and improve life for Canadians.
I have no intention of running for office, but do hope that those pursuing leadership positions find inspiration and helpful food for thought here. All thoughts shared here are for the purpose of fostering critical thinking and constructive collaboration, not to encourage any destructive actions or lawlessness.
